Rising LPG prices

Domestic LPG cylinder prices were increased by Rs 50 on March 1, 2023. This comes after the election in North East India and ahead of Holi.

19-kg LPG cylinder price hiked by 19.8% to Rs 2,119 from Rs 1,769

14.2-kg LPG cylinder price hiked by 4.7% to Rs 1,103 from Rs 1,053

This is painful. How are people coping? more

The way Market have gone up since 2020, it is becoming very difficult for Non Pensioner Senior Citizens to survive. Govt must increase interest rates on SCSS to 9%. For last few years even Mutual Fund is also not giving any Income/returns. more
As long as they are providing temples, and filling the youth with hatred against other communities, majority are destroying the houses/ religious structures of the minorities, then majority people are deliriously happy and care less on the increasing prices, in turn they will keep repeating their 'sanatani' actions, to vent out their frustration on the minorities. And the govt keeps on winning. Enjoy the ache din of Amrut kaal more
The BJP is arbitrarily raising the prices of many essential commodities. If they are doing so now, what will be the state of affairs in India when they come to power for five years in 2024? The PM says he is buying cheap oil and gas from Russia then why is it not percolating to the lower levels. Do you know how much suffering the poor are facing with such increases in everyday supplies. Rs.50/- not mean much to you but for millions of poor people in India it is about sacrifice! Where will this looting end??? more
Average family consumes 1 cyl per month. What's wrong in paying Rs.1.5 per day extra. See the impact of freebies and subsidies on the exchequer ( tax payers). Increasing burden of freebies compels Govt. to increase taxes which further compresses the tax payers. Subsidies and wasteful expenditure must be curtailed to reduce taxes. more
