How to survive a Heart Attack when alone?

Since many people are alone when they suffer a heart attack, without help, the person whose heart is beating improperly and who begins to feel faint, has only about 10 seconds left before losing consciousness.

However, these victims can help themselves by coughing repeatedly and very vigorously. A deep breath should be taken before each cough, and the cough must be deep and prolonged, as when producing sputum from deep inside the chest.

A breath and a cough must be repeated about every two seconds without let-up until help arrives, or until the heart is felt to be beating normally again.

Deep breaths get oxygen into the lungs and coughing movements squeeze the heart and keep the blood circulating. The squeezing pressure on the heart also helps it regain normal rhythm. In this way, heart attack victims can get to a hospital.

Hope you don't mind me sharing this here Richi... more

Dear Raja Chandra, I respect your age and respect elders Your experience in life may be 20 years more than mine and I value it. I had already seen your video and I would say on that account it is our attitude to what we accept adapt comprehend with a positive approach that makes us strong. Let us not doubt anybody's experiences and call it fiction. This circle is just this to share one's experience with the best of knowledge and in the best of interest of the members. Life does not end at doctors knowledge. Doctor is not a complete encyclopedia. He is limited to just what he has learnt in limited medical book not all. Let us give all our society experiences a chance in face of limited doctoral experiences, let us give ayurveda, homeopathy, naturopathy, the same chance as allopathy by way of superspeciallity hospitals provide and not close our eyes to benefits of these alternative therapies where ever thay may be use full or the experiences of people in life which only give strength to cure for mankind. more
