Dear All, Here is a thought for the new Govt. I would very much appreciate a awakening and discussions on the following. *MECHANISM OF CORRUPTION THROUGH DECALRED AGRICULTURAL INCOME and MOVIES* It is no surprise that FM in his budget speech has stated that only about 45000 people are under Rs. 100 lacs and above income bracket called as upper rich. But is it not surprising and wonder to see the type of White goods and vehicles being imported or bought by various people? and also the style of living, including foreign sojourns etc. How is it compatible to such statement of fact by FM. Obviously the truth lies in the declarations of Agricultural Income by various people claiming tax deductions. If only the IT authorities carry out a detailed inspection of various claims for Agri. Income with actual investigation carried out in the various fields, the Pandora box will be opened. Because if only they add up all the Declared agri. Income from various IT filers, then it will be evident such a scenario of production and return, would have led to only huge surplus production and India would be a net exporter of Agri. Products. Alas the politicians and Bureaucrats are devious and have designed a system that leaks all through. No agency such as CAG or anything can correct the system that is designed to be corrupt and led by inept and corrupt people all through. Now another interesting factor towards such corruption and even money laundering, is the system which has been successfully designed by the corrupt auditors in South India. Particularly the system works very smoothly with the Film world and Politician nexus. Every other politician of almost all parties in various states more so in Southern region, it is the normal practice to see that almost anybody or everybody connected with the political party, is on to Film Field, either producing, acting, or directing or distributing. This is one of the best systems which facilitate thorough Money Laundering. How? Probably the system works as follows: The Politician announces a film. He shows ghost borrowing of about say Rs. 500 Lacs, towards the new venture. Once the film is made, it is managed to be declared as a successful film, bringing in a collection of (fictitious ) of say over Rs. 50 CRORES. This way the profit is booked at around Rs 40 crores, and after paying even 30% tax, the net profit after Tax will be seen at around Rs. 30 crores. Thus a sum around Rs. 50 crores earned dubiously in corrupt route, is made as earned wealth through such means. This is rather apparent, and it is only surprising again that the IT and ED authorities are not looking into these things. Why even the media is turning a blind eye to these measures, of course it cannot be expected to be otherwise, as almost the entire media is controlled by such persons only. Now the third big scam scope in Land Deals. The wily and corrupt bureaucrats and Politicians suddenly announce some development in an area where the land is available. These sets off a chain of rumours and the land value shoots up, giving wind fail profits to the Babudom and the Political Class, who by then had already cornered plum lands, which they download later. At this rate there is no scope for India. *Only a total revamp or even a revolution can be the only answer*. *Unfortunately the impetuous media and the political class including the Bureaucrats have virtually killed the only one such movement started by Shri Anna Hazare*. *Sorry for the Pessimism*. What then is the solution? The fault lies in our Educational System, which has to be revamped completely starting from the primary Education level. Today the average GK level of kids and even the teachers is abysmally low. If only a review examination is to be conducted to the various teaching staff, it will not be a surprise to see very poor success rate. This is already proved in the recently held Teachers’ examination in Tamilnadu, which has to be held again and again. The systemic murder of the entire education system with top heavy concentration on higher education and without basics and fundamentals being taught has virtually led to a collapse of the entire education system. Add to above the education pattern being adopted in various states being at variance, adds further fuel to the fire. The time has come to reengineer the educational program, with a uniform syllabus across the country, doing away with various State Boards, matriculation, CBSE etc, and Introducing single standard syllabus. It has to start from the Primary level itself with compulsory introduction of subjects of Philosophy, Morals (drawing from all religions), History (real and honest history and not the one that is being taught now), besides the Science, Mathematics and Languages. With the Global scenario having developed, reliance for compulsory learning of English (which, let us admit as the only Universal Language now), besides the mother tongue and also Hindi. Hindi being the Major Language being spoken in India, it is a must for non Hindi people also learning Hindi Compulsorily to enable them seek livelihood anywhere in India without and Language Barrier. For all these changes to happen it calls for a united nationalistic spirit among the people to ensure uniform development across the country. Development is the only answer and not appeasement of selective sectors of society. Now coming to AAM ADHMY EXPERIMENT, CAN IT SUCCEED. The answer is a definite no. IS IT AAM AADMY OR DAMN AADMY? Why? The recent developments at Delhi is a proof. *Think and Ink should be the motto. But Aam Aadmy appears to be heading towards INK AND STINK*. Instead of chasing and finding all the corruption in the system, this party is now happily piggy riding on the very back of the Corrupt Congress. Even at the fear of exposure if the Congress is supporting, it is only because they would like to ensure avoiding by hook or crook means the entry of BJP, and particularly Shri Narendra Modi. Shri Narendra Modi has time and again proved in Gujarat as to what is the Good Governance mean. No other ruler other than Shri Modi, concentrates only on the action and avoid all public utterances and advertisement as being done by most of the Congress and other people. of course it is not liked by the media which in effect controlled by such partisan people and managed by youngsters without any control of emotional and sensationalism. These media people are only mere shouting brigade and look at the people who are interviewed mostly. They are the same bunch of people who only mouth words but not any actual soul searching analysis. Because their TRP will not be successful if the real truth is stated. Take for example the recent elections in 4 north Indian states. much hype is being made of the success of Aam Aadmy party in Delhi, and even discrediting the other successful parties and people. It is true that the success of a new set up yes that is what it is, Aam Aadmy party is inspiring. But did anyone care to evaluate the real reasons. The answer lies right in front but only the media which is mostly controlled by vested interests and the Congress and other so called secular parties and to so called society people. Also cleverly and conniving Aam Aadmy party has exploited the angry sentiments of Delhiites, and also hijacked the success of Anna Hazare movement. In fact to some extent the success of Anna Hazare movement rightfully belong to Shri Ramdev and BJP for the huge mass participation, which has been cleverly exploited and even hijacked by the Aam Aadmy Party. Corruption which is the main worry of this country, cannot be solved by rhetoric and sensationalism, supported by the TRP conscious media. It is a matter to be pondered over. It cannot be solved by simply brushing and booming out and even blaming the entire polity, system and politicians. But alas that is what is the mantra of the Aam Aadmy persons. The breaking news loving media also add further fuel over this new trend which is very dangerous. Mere empty words and gimmickry will not solve the problems. The country in spite of all mistakes, and hurdles has still withstood and is on the progressive path. What is required is only course correction and effective cure through medicines without side effects. Movement like Aam Aadmy which jumped into the political arena will not solve the problem. It is like trying to solve an illness using fast through an active dose of heavy medication through antibiotics, which in the short term may solve the illness, but in the long run with time to come will cause irreparable damage to the person(society). Such treatment will certainly lead to anarchism and one is seriously reminded of such fear noticing the recent developments of politics. What is the Alternative? India is a heterogeneous society with various languages, religions, caste divisions etc. Hence looking merely at available model of economy such as Socialism, Capitalism as being practiced in other countries will not solve the problems of this country. i.e. so called specialist Economists with World Bank, and IMF culture will not be able to solve our problems which is local specific and geography. Simple talk of Socialism and resorting to all freebies will never solve the problems of this country but eventually lead to further chaos only. Simply aping western and resorting to complete free market economic model of capitalism also will not solve our inherent problems. It will only develope certain sections of the society and lead to wide variation between haves and have not's. Such a model also will lead to anarchy and rebelling in the long run. For a permanent solution we need to develope a localized Indian model. How to develope such a mode? This should start with making fundamental changes in our education system and uniform and single standard across the country. For this to happen we need to give up this Linguistic division of the states and resort to regions division of the country. History will show that India with its multilinguist and multi religious culture is so heterogeneous, that the West Minister model of states division with further complication of the linguistic basis division, has only resulted in fragmenting the country and even threatening the very basis Indian Society. Hence we need to think out of the box for a permanent solution. A solution which will ensure protecting the Indian Culture with all its differences but at the same time ensuring unity in its diversity. For this to happen we need to eliminate the man created difference from the society, which is foremost would be the Language division. In the ancient India languages were never a barrier. Whether it is Maratha king, or Naicka King or such, no difficulty had appeared to have existed as the Kingdom was noticed to have looked beyond language boundaries and even religious boundaries. All the current existing differences were the creation by the British Raj, which was further compounded by the Linguistic Division of the country since 1956, which was seeded and sowed by Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru. In fact the same history will also show that such introduction of Linguistic Division of the country was correctly objected to by eminent Politicians and visionaries like Shri C.Rajagopalachari and others. In fact Shri Rajaji visualized and warned that the very hard work of formation of Indian Dominic Republic of Sardar Vallabhai Patel would be threatened through such linguistic divisions and even forecasted about the current problems. Adding further to this problem is the control of education, rivers, power etc through both Centre and such divided and fragmented States. This has caused heavy famine on one side of the country, and heavy flooding etc on the other side. N.VEERARAGHAVAN.
