Reservation based on caste- Gujarat situation
A young educated person (from a financially sound, politically active community) asking for reservations is surprising. He should build self confidence for him self and his community. He should not encourage the people of his caste for competing to become backward. It appears a clear political motive and has to be handled as such. more

LET US ALSO AT THE SAME TIME CALL FOR THE INFORMATIONS ON PROPERTIES & ECONOMIC STATUS HELD BY THOSE STILL DEMANDING FURTHERANCE OF RESERVATIONS. LET US NEVER FORGET THE INCIDENTS OF MANY SHOOTED IN GUJARAT WHILE THERE WAS CONTINUED STRUGGLE AND PROTESTS FOR REMOVING THE RESERVATIONS ETC., CAST-WISE / RELIGION WISE . AND, KINDLY ALSO LET US FIGHT FOR THOSE COVERED IN THE CONSTITUTION TO MAINTAIN EQUALITY etc., etc., AND , THE MEANING OF ECONOMICALLY BACKWARD. more

Reservation on basis of caste to be abolished and reservation on the basis of income to be introduced. Every individual should have a PAN card. Even non taxable income group should file nil return. Income tax return should be filed along with asset and liability statement also. This should be the criterion of income and total assets held by him. Nowadays non taxable income group of citizens can get an income certificate from village officer by bribing. This system should stop. Reservation should be on the basis of the Income Tax Return and Asset and Liability Statement filed by him. more
