Request to PM: Please end this VIP Culture

“Airlines go pvt, but ‘VIP’ culture stays” is a news headline in today’s Times of India.
Government has written to all airlines, airport operators and aviation security regulator to ensure compliance with the “protocol/courtesy/support” to MPs at airports. This means provide access to reserved lounges, along with free tea, coffee or water.
While letter dated 21st September 2021 from Aviation Ministry is addressed to Air India to follow the protocol, it says all concerned are requested to comply with the same in letter and spirit, makes it applicable to private airlines also. This is to safe guard VIP culture as Air India is being privatised.
Prime Minister has declared on Independence day that he is Pradhan Sevak. This means MPS are Sevaks. Why should they be provided VIP treatment when they are servants of janta.
Another issue is a number of MPs have criminal cases against them including Rape and Murder. Why alleged criminals are being provided VIP treatment.
Air India was being used by Politicians and Bureaucrats as if they were sons in law of the airline. This is the prime reason for Air India to accumulate huge losses.
This is a request to PM to kindly intervene and stop this practice. Local Circles are requested to bring this to PM’s attention. more

The VIP culture should be stopped. Except for official duty, no VIP treatment should be allowed. more
No one knows when and how this so called VIP culture was developed in a country like ours but unfortunately it's a very very bad culture for those whose getting this blackship trade marks completely depends on the mercy of the general citizens. Shamefully, these groups of people make their makers sufferers the most. By taking undue privileges of their being elected our people's representatives (servants), their kiths & kins also behave like VIPs making the common man their scapegoats. Even the municipal corporation ward members behave like VIPs, a culture, which our country can no more bear and must be abolished forthwith. Our pragmatic PM hopefully realizes the side affects of the culture and is expected to initiate necessary steps for its abolition. Let the elected representatives forget of enjoying any special status on being elected and start thinking of being themselves as part of common people of the country. more
First and foremost it shall be started from Temples inevitably please more
Sounds a very important and serious issue to be taken up by PM pronto. Tax paying citizens? Every Indian pays tax. Income tax is not the only tax. Only 1.46 crore out of 138 crore Indians pay Income Tax. Only 4% of the tax payers pay 60% of the income tax. This VIP culture is embedded in every household and every industry, including the vegetable vendor. That is Indian mentality. We will continue to have VIP,VVIP,SIP & rowdy sheeters in a different category. more
