Delhi Police has taken various steps to curb the number of incidents regarding chain snatching in Delhi.

We would like to seek your specific inputs on different areas/roads where chain snatching has been happening regularly.

Chain Snatching cases are increasing in Badarpur area of South Dekhi. My wife is live example of that. It happened on 05-07-2015 (saturday) in broad day light at 5 pm that too at my house door where my wife along with sister - in - law was standing at door of service lane when young guy snatched chain from behind & manged to escape on bike. Local police is apathy. I along with my wife visited Jaitpur Police Station & met S.H.O. who gave us big assurances but all proved to beempty one. They even have not registered our F.I.R. Two days have passed no action has been taken. I seek help from local circle as well as Senior Delhi Police Officers who can take action. more

Hi, I live in west patel nagar. We have seen such cases here few months back and are not that frequent here. But I will still like to explain the reason due to which these cases occured and people supporting these criminal. Near block 29, west patel nagar, there are some fruit vendors who have encroached the road area which should for vehicles. Now this chain snatching occurred in front of these fruit vendors only & when asked by police that have you seen the criminals, they said no we haven't. And I see them always making a note of who is wearing what? more
