Renaming of cities

Why is the Govt and BJP leaders falling for renaming of cities like Agra to Agrawal. Instead they should focus their energies on improving the cities.

Folks like hema malini got elected from mathura 4.5 years ago. What have they done for the city?

Renaming a city is cost for everyone believe it or not. Instead real transformation should take place like better municipal services, garbage free cities. more

In my opinion re-naming cities is a worst idea , wastage of taxpayer's money and manpower, government needs to established new cities as our cities are getting overcrowded and these existing cities are suffering from so many problens and scarcities.. i want to mention delhi as a example as i live here, we all know how much shortage of water we have, and pollution is always a major problems every year.. similarly mumbai , Bangalore pune all are suffering from some kind of problems, So if government wants to name the cities according to there wish then they should establish new cities..... That will be of the sign of growth for our country and people. more

I am endorsing Sujata Sings point regarding re naming cities. Lets politicians do some work instead of wasting time such un justified issues. more
