Removal of reservation in all sectors

I feel it is high time to remove reservations in all sectors, we all belong to one community called India and all of us should be given equal opportunities, all the poor should be given monitory help for upliftment, why the help should be based on cast, if we have reservations in top class education institutions and jobs we will only bring down the quality of these institutes if you make a dum head the king the kingdom will suffer similarly if we give top jobs and seats in top institutes to non deserving people our country will not progress. more

Why there should be reservation when people of all the classes of society have access to the Govt hospitals, GOVT schools and GOVT offices. Keeping mind the reservation policy some people dont even go for work or make any effot to make there own life better then why should Govt or the tax payer money be wasted who them self dont want to make their life better. Nobody has stoped nobody to work hard and make their life better. Rather then providing reservation the Govt should provide better infrastructure like better primary school, hospitals which should be free for the people who cannot effort it. SC/ST or the OBC classes should be provided free eductaion through out their life and through out India and for talentred student should get oppurtunity to study abroad the Govt should pay for it, but reservation is not right.I being a taxpayer I dont have any problem my tax money being used to get the backward classes at par the overall society. (These are my personal thoughts. I dont have any intension of hurting anyone) more
I agree with Vinupa reddy. reservations can only make people lame and dependent on the government. It leads to discrimination against the meritorious and creates different class of citizen which by itself is against the principles of democracy. more
No, removing reservation is not a right solution. First up all we should think why reservation has introduced? what was its purpose? Does it got the desired result? Now reservation is used for creating vote bank, there is the problem, those who deserve it not getting the benefits, 80-90% of SC/STs are still very poor and at least 45-50% of them are in acute poor conditions even not able to compare as human beings and they never get any benefits of the reservations. The policy of reservation should not be expected to prolong for several decades. Now rich communities who has vote bank power getting more benefits of reservation than those to really need it. So what we need is a re-thinking of the policy, study where the implementation failed, how it can reach to the needy, stop all reservation from those who achieve it using vote bank power. Make it limited for a period and ensure that it reaches to the needy during the period. more
Reservation is not required now a days remove it. otherwise those who are non reserved they will be in a position of asking for reservation. more
1)Fighting Price Rise/Inflation : Eliminate the number of middle agencies between the farmer and Consumer. The number of agencies where there is no value addition or processing in a food product should be limited to two. Provide adequate storage facilities and prevent wastage and rotting of food grains.Middle class should also have access to Fair price shops whose network and facilities are to be improved where more items should be made available by associating NGO’s and price control should be implemented. 2) Fast Tracking of Legal Cases: Make courts work round the week. No vacations and frivolous filing of cases should be penalized. Encourage out of court settlement and encourage lok adalats and arbitration awards to be referred to court only as a lost resort and separate courts to be nominated for civil and criminal cases and justices and magistrates to be closely monitored and tacked by councils. 3) Economic Growth and Job Creation : Improve the infrastructure by providing quality roadway network. Utilise the land bank available wth the railways for commercial exploitation. Give importance to interlinking of rivers from north to south and east to west and give massive thrust to inland waterways as they lead to massive savings in power consumption and will open up new areas for commerce. Concentrate on power generation and encourage in Non Fossil fuel based power. Improve the quality of school education and improve the skill set of students at school and college level. Encourage social awareness in students which leads to enterpreneural ambitions and e-learning to be made easy. more
