Reliance Tata ecommerce both non compliant on MRP

I think legal metrology and consumer affairs dept has to properly create awareness about MRP laws for ecommerce.

Look at tata’s ecommerce apps also like tata cliq and tata luxe in addition to reliances ajio. None of them even use the word MRP.

Both should be fined for non compliance immediately. more

I ordered a product on 16.06.2020. It was supposed to be delivered by 20.06.2020. Tata cliq is saying that the order has been shipped on 17.06.2020 but on contacting their delivery partner (Delhivery), I got a reply that my package has not even handed over to them by the merchant. Tata cliq is not responding and always reply that they are working on the issue for the last 5 days. I don't want to loose my money. more
Is there no rules to enforce MRP in our Country and if there are any, then let that department take care of such lapses. more
priority of the present government is anything but consumers or common people more

MRP is a joke created long back. I always struggle to find MRP on the things I buy. more
It seems to be free for all. Many products are now being sold without mentioning of MRP..Manufacturers are now beating competition by producing products in different odd weight packings e. g. 15,27,37,48,86,123,243,385 gms..so on. Every company has packing with different weightage which makes it impossible to compare competitive price of the same product of two or more companies which effectively beats the competition and informed choice to the consumer. This consumer law relating to weight of products needs to be changed and standardized to specific packings of 10,20,30,40,50,100,125,150,200gm..& so on to enable the consumer to compare the rates and purchase at competitive price.. The consumer needs to bombard the consumer Affairs ministry with such demands from time to time. If we are not awake and lethargic the business people would use every loophole to loot the helpless poor consumer. more
