Refunds in Wallets

Some ecommerce papps are driving customers to accept refunds or credits only in the wallet account of the app and then locking them till they do KYC.

Will LocalCircles please escalate this to consumer ministry or RBI or whosoever? more

Refund should be made to the account from which it was paid as most merchants, online market etc more

RBI has said no fees for UPI/IMPS. And anyway I don't think refund is charged. Even if it is would rather pay something nominal like RS.2 and get refund back to card/ account that made payment. more
