Reduced Water Supply

DJB is saying the dip in raw water supply had led to reduction in production at Chandrawal and Wazirabad treatment plants, forcing it to rationalise supply. As a result, supply will be available at low pressure or for less duration in Daryaganj, Ramlila Ground, Subhash Park, Chandni Chowk, Jama Masjid, and ITO in central Delhi, Moolchand, South Extension, Lodhi Road and Nizamuddin in south Delhi along with Connaught Place, Khan Market, Lodhi Colony, Pandara Market and Bapa Nagar.

What are the LG and CM doing? more

when we have a pm and cm who know nothing about good governance but are ready to put other down always , the people in the state suffers. i see no end to this impasse in near term. more

CM has no doubt highlighted the problem and has even taken the LG & Center to HC asking for its intervention. CM has also stated that even NDMC's VIP areas would face water cuts and he has written a request letter to Haryana CM seeking more water. However LG & Center are sure to play water politics to cut AAP down further and highlight it as his failure. Politics has reached the lowest level since 2014 as BJP wants to have entire India in its grip and then people would know what it is like to be under Dictatorship. The weather tantrums of squall and winds playing out since May beginning could worsen further affecting normal monsoon and with no support from neighboring Haryana (BJP) or Punjab (Congress) ....Delhi-ites are in for a parched season this summer for sure. more
