Quiet Talking vs Shouting

Compared with shouting, quiet talking reduces the production of virus-soaked aerosols by 80%; silence reduces them by 98%. Attached full analysis. more

Is it a proposal to the Government to bring an ordinance to limit the decibels while talking or a request to God to have an audio control fitted to every child that will be born after a particular date? Now the singers can take a hike to Himalayas and TVs to be made with 60 decibels. So when next time one gets angry don't shout just say "miaow" more
Hi Sir /Madam, Find WhatsApp and Facebook - drag on moral,, social, and cultural socio-economic crime! Have no clue but your circle may graduate to Dialogue for Development . Chiefly in Rural Areas - seem you and most of us are concerned for the population that are elite someway. Trust you wont perceive my rhetoric's Scofflaws and will try to be away from all such distractions than doing something tangible as a Senior Citizen close to Death. Best Regards, Dr. Satish Chandra more
Not only helpful, I simply love this kind of report. Sends a strong message to people to tone down their voices, especially when they are talking on their phones. Amusing for me to register how the decibel level rises with time spent on the phone. Worst is when they shout into their phones during a social get-together and do not have the decency to get up and move away from the table so as not to disturb the others. Smile and laugh, dears! I don't think we'll ever learn or we'll ever want to learn. There's a saying in German, "Was das Fritzchen night gelernt hat, lernt der Fritz nie", meaning what you've not learnt as child, you'll never learn as adult. Post more of such messages dear Vinita. That might make a difference some day!!! more
