PVR and other cinemas loot must be caught

These PVR fellows are the biggest thugs. They dont let you take home food inside and charge 250-300 rupees for a 10 rupee pop corn. CCI as an authority must be envoked. These people have eliminate competition in north india.

With gst rates changing from jan 1 from 28 to 18%, i suggest everyone in this circle save their old tickets from bookmyshow pvr sites. And then if these people dont reduce base price, lets raise complaints to NAA and get them booked for profiteering. more

Eatables and tea/coffee are sold at such high prices at cineplexes because there is no dearth of consumers. In fact income of certain groups of people have increased manifold since last decade, which is much in excess of all their basic needs. Hence, paying Rs.200 or Rs.300 for a basket of popcorn with its original cost of RS.20 or Rs.30 and Rs.100 for a cup of coffee of Rs.20 does not adversely affect their purses. Therefore, there is no point in accusing the cineplex owners. more
Normally in India business community is not honest.Govt should appoint the agency who will watch if the business community is implementing the same.Passing an order is not the end in itself, rather it is the begining. more
All multiplex charging 200 - 500% more then the cost available out side. I have solution but may not be right one for some one. Stop purchasing food at these multiplexes for 1-2 months. price will reduce automatically. more
