Prostitution 7 pm onwards

Prostitution on city streets is becoming an epidemic in south delhi like written about by someone in circle and it seems to be big business for both, the solicitors and law enforcers. It's an uncomfortable situation when traveling with family. Worse if innocent working woman is seen standing to flag an auto or taxi, leeching customers stop to enquire. Whenever police take sporadic action, they move to a new place further down the street. more

There is an NGO in Ahmedabad(Gujarat)- Sadvichar Parivar: a totally female run organization who used the culinary skills of women (orphan girls, widows and elderly women thrown out of family), they use their skills to cook Gujarati Fast Food (Snacks). However since earnings from the venture were too small to sustain the larger number of employees, the younger ones went back to flesh trade. And partly because of the regressive policies of Government which even puts hurdles in Foreign Funding using FERA ....many NGO's folded up. more
A great desire to lead a lavish life is also a reason. more
