Price Rise in Railways

At present scenario when Indian common public is badly affected by inflation and looking for a change and favorable action from Modi Government, decision of price rise in Railways is definitely not a good option. This price rise will increase the inflation up to the mark. In such situation we should think over some other options of income for Indian Railways,

I have one suggestions

Income from Advertisement - This may really make a profitable deal for Indian railways to establish their own, advertisement business, reason is, Indian Railways already has millions of daily passengers in their railway coaches, and Corporates and Big industries will definitely prefer this option of advertisement for their products. If this idea will click, Railways will never need to think about Income. Railways can fix TV sets with recorded entertainment programmers and paid advertisement clips, this would be as easy as fixing a fan inside the coach, and most interesting thing is that travelers will also take it as facility provided by railways to make their journey happy and comfortable, Surly few rules and regulations needs to be write up for this and additional care has to be taken for this, but this is not an impossible job for Indian railways, anyway they are managing such a big rail network in India successfully since last many year. more

One suggestion from my side. Apply solar panel on roofs of platform and utilize it. Put fine system on those who taken Railways for Granted. more
Operating cancer is never a good option but it is required to save the life. Indian railways is a business which earns revenue to improve its efficiency , safety and comfort. I being a regular traveler in Railways found how all above customer requirements have considerably deteriorated over time. Off course only increasing fare will not help we must work for 1. Improve energy conservation 2. Strong move to eradicate corruptions through ruthless steps 3. Increase earning from goods corridor providing better services and incentives. Now that the passenger fare is increased we shall follow what changes it has brought to improve services and safety 9 incidence rate ) more
