possession of under const. flats from Builders
A dream home is every house holders choice. But builders have fooled so many consumers so far . Although consumer forums , consumer courts , and supreme court has come to the rescue of some flat owners by imposing heavy penalty , still the builders are roaming freely with flat owners money and not handing over flats . RERA is supposed to be answer for all these issues . But it is yet to notified in some states. Under the situation , what is the best possible way to get a flat on time , particularly for under construction flat awaiting completion . And how to punish the defaulted builders. I think this must be the question roaming in all flat owners who are yet to get their flat and spent may be 90 to 100 percent of the flat cost . more

Is there any act that protects the rights of those who who have taken on 99 years lease of apartments under SEZs? We have been running from pillar to post and trying all our tricks to get our developer to complete the project. We invested in one project Navarathna Phase II at Marg Swarnabhoomi and we are about 280 investors. Even though MARG handed over our flats other facilities such as lifts are yet to be installed in some cases and yet to be serviced and commissioned. Many of the residents are senior citizens and are apprehensive about settling there for want of essential services. Even some who have entered into rental agreement with the MARG rarely get their rents on time, usually they get once in 3 months and that too after lot of reminders. Can anyone help us please? more
