Portronics is profiteering in different ways
See attached how Portronics has been profiteering on power banks. On 10000 mah power bank MRP was 1999 in Dec 18. On Jan 1 the rate of gst reduced from 28% to 18% Deapite that on Jan 3rd 2nd screenshot the MRP remained same. Now 2 months later in feb the product name has been changed but MRP is same.
Anti profiteering authority is requested to book them and in cases where product brand name is changed how do you plan to counter companies. more

I am yet to understand the complaint . No doubt there is no M.R.P.inclusive of all taxes. But what is that Printed at The bottom .More / Less , ans 1,999 /1,349 - Save 650 [33%] more

My suggest to please write to the State's GST (Trade & Taxes) Department for redressal with a copy to CBDT at the Centre. more

Indians are experts at finding loopholes in the law and effectively use it to circumvent the rules. The crazy idea that enters my mind is why not use these very same people to review the laws before implementation and frame plug the loop holes even before the Law is brought out. It is always the poor consumer who is at the receiving end just like the middle income group which bears the brunt every time. The poor do not buy and the Rich do not care. more
