Thanks for enthusiastically voting on our two polls conducted last week. Approximately 30,000 of you voted on each poll.
The key takeaways are:
1) 70% of citizens in the circle believe the Government has met or exceeded expectations in the first 60 days while 30% of you said it had delivered below expectations.
2) 42% of citizens in the circle believe that Fighting Corruption should be the number 1 immediate action item for the Government.

Q1 - Keeping in perspective the slide of last 10 years and the actions taken in the last 60 days, how has the new Government delivered so far:
1- Far Exceeded Expectations (6 %)
2- Exceeded Expectations (14 %)
3- Met Expectations (50 %)
4- Below Expectations (30 %)
Q2 - According to you, strong Government action on which ones of these national priorities is most needed at this time?
1- Fighting Corruption (42 %)
2- Curbing Inflation and Rising Prices (24 %)
3- Boosting Jobs and Economic Growth (26 %)
4- Improving Cleanliness and Civic Sense (8 %)

In India corruption has become a way of life. It is deep rooted. Everybody lectures to others to avoid corruption but when it comes to self, it is not avoided. People are ready to spare some money to get things done at any levels.There is a need for a fundamental change in the attitude of every individual. Corruption does not flow from sky.It is there in every human's mind in varying degree.Whole world is becoming more and more materialistic. Ethics are thrown away in achieving one's goal in this path.Faith in selfless service to humanity is losing its charm.Simple living concepts have gone.Unless this spirit of selfless service mind is spread among society it is very difficult to weed out corruption. more
