CM of Delhi has announced several major measures to combat the air pollution emergency in Delhi.
The situation is so bad that it is not justified holding back of the “Odd-Even Traffic Rule”. There is no need to wait for any results before the vehicles are restricted.
To meet the present critical situation, all private vehicles run on diesel should additionally be banned for a few days.
We should invoke all conceivable methods to bring down the pollution immediately.

Odd and even will have no impact on pollution level in Delhi a fact known to everyone. However it generate good publicity and give media ready masala to report about. If we really want to control vehicular pollution teach Delhiwallahs to drive in lanes and follow basic traffic rules. Smooth flow of traffic is primary requirement and will help in reducing pollution. more
