How much time time does it take for transfer (A Trust to EPFO)?

I had requested it online(for eps) and manual(for PF) and am waiting for the update since last two months . The portal shows "Current Status :Your request is In Transit between EPFO Out and In Office". more

Hi Rakesh Raj, has your issue been sorted yet ?? I have similar issues the trust says everything is ready with them but its the PF ONLINE Site that has a technical snag preventing further progress on the tramsfer request....its almost 3 months since i have submitted request. 2 months wasted becuase govt did not fix interest rates for year 2019 and now govt cleared interest rate now request hanging due to online system issue. My friend got from this company's trust very fast in 1.5 months so i trust the company trust but not the PF Office.... more
In case of trust, the employer has a larger role to play. Please stay in touch with the previous employer. Normally the employer issues a cheque to the EPFO within 30 days. more
One should understand the intricacies in transfer. Generally transfer takes place within 30-45 dyas. However, due to non submission of annual returns to EPFO by the empolyer these transfers get delayed. As the members are not aware of the returns, ususally blame EPFO for transfer. if the employer is prompt and regular in submission of returns, it will be easier for EPFO to transfer the PF accumulations. Now the system is computerised, it should not take much time. Though computerisation is done, the act is not amended regarding submission of returns. If you feel that you had ssubmitted the necessary forms more than three months back, write a letter in the name of the Regional PF commissioner giving all the details, your account will be transfer within 10 days. more
I have been informed that in one of the case Tamilnadu High Court has given judgment fixing EPF pension of minimum of Rs. 5000/- along with past arrears however EPF directorate has gone to S C for not paying the arrears. Will some body confirm the same if that is true? more
Rakesh Raj, I have same experience. Might be some minor difference in name. more
