PF account tenure to continue getting interest

I would like to know as to for how many years you can keep your PF account open and still get interest on the same. Is there any time limit after which you stop getting interest once your contributions come to an end? more

Does PF account expire? If you do not contribute to your PF account for a continuous period of 36 months, it becomes inoperative. This means that it stops earning interest. You will get interest upto 3 years from the date of last contribution after thataccount remain active but interest will not get. more  
A PF subscriber can get interest on PF accumulation till the age of 58 years even not in service. more
