According to the state government, five samples of mustard oil supplied to Patanjali by Singhania oil mill were tested. All five samples failed. They were not of the required standard or quality.

Chief Medical Officer Dr Omprakash Meena stated that the food safety of the mustard oil pouches was tested in the presence of the local administration on May 27. The test report was produced by the Food Safety and Standards Authority Laboratory in Alwar.

Meena said that Patanjali’s mustard oil pouch and mustard oil bottle were found to be substandard food items. Sri Sri Tattva brand’s mustard oil also got the same result. more

This is just to bring down the sales of Patanjali products by business houses of multinationals. Why did not these labs keep quiet regarding harmful Nestle Maggie?. more
Surprising that the outlet where the samples were taken , the batch no and the printed expiry number have not been disclosed. It is quite possible that they had taken it from an outlet where there is no control over the goods which had an expired date. The allegation becomes baseless as there can be many a gap between the cup and the lip. more
Why not FSSAI test the samples of Mustard Oil, that are being sold in the market by various companies and provide the observation. Why only targeting Patanjali products. more
100% true. Ptanjali has no manufacturing facilities for most of the products. Using the brand name they outsource for igher profit margin. The factorynwas raided and sealed in Alwar. This applies for most of their products more
