ozonifiers for purifying fruit/veggies

Some members in this circle were discussing use of ozonifiers. My word of caution. Ozone not only deactivates the pesticides and bacteria present on edibles rather it is dangerous for humans, too. It can harm your body in many ways. Ozone can lead to lung diseases, heart problems and even death. My position is washing with RO water.

Would like to hear the counter argument as to why ozonifiers are safe and if FSSAI has a position on this.

Also, note that medical associations of many countries do not even recommend the average people to buy ozone generators. In countries like Canada, only trained professionals have the permission to use ozone for cleaning purpose. more

Simple way out. Prepare food what is necessary. As far as possible avoid keeping the remains in the fridge. Use ho water for regular sip as far as possible. Butter milk, lemon, ginger, garlic should be regularly consumed at limited quantity. more
Indians have a tendency to rush in whenever there is a new and exotic product in the market. Buying is based on slick advertisement. Let there be discussions on the topic by qualified people before we come to conclusions. more
