I have to pay rS.130/- per month for the cable operator's charges. He gives more than 100 channels and will not budge from this. I have taken 19 pay channels which come to Rs.132/- per month. However, I have an HD TV so have paid double the amount for the HD channel which comes up to Rs.132/- Now they are charging me as 29 channels instead of 19 channels because of the HD channels. This is daylight robbery as I have already paid double for the HD channels. For eg. Star plus HD is Rs.19/- but Star plus SD is Rs.10/- so I have paid double and yet I have to pay extra NFC for 29 channels. Can someone pls help me where to complain? Thanks in anticipation. more

Good morning.. These are very common complaints and in future we the consumers will face similar matters. more  
The problem can be addressed by assigning implementation of the policy rules to some available local agency, that can take action against the service provider like inflicting some fine. A specific TRAI Commissioner per district or area who could be contacted through phone or person is a must. Robotic customer cares system is an endless exercise even for lodging a complaint. Switching from one service provider to another should also be made easy without any transfer charge. This will affect the marketing of defaulting service provider who will be more responsible to safeguard their reputation. more  
Complaints against DTH operators can be made to their customer care and TRAI more
