Overcharging on NCERT books - fix MRP

There is rampant overcharging on NCERT books going on on online platforms and even local book stores. See attached maths and science book costing rupees 60 each printed inside the book being listed for 221 rupees as a set. So basically instead of charging 120 they are charging 221 i.e. over 80% profiteering.

Will ecommerce platforms and the Govt fix this. Ministry of Education must issue notices to all ecommerce sites and sellers and local book stores doing this. Profiteering in children’ books is the worst kind of loot.

Also why should these books not have MRP and something that says on the book selling books higher than the price is a non bailable offence with 6 months of jail term. more
