Sir,Under the able leadership of Amit ji the party is doing excellent work. I as a follower, admirer and above all a humble worker may analyse its functioning suitably in front of any set of opponents. In fact all opponents are now in dilemma as their party has always deceived them and misguided them. Any way !The latest decision of nominating Kiran didi as CM is absolutely wise and timely. She has the potential to facelift both the state and the party. Many people are still not aware of her capability. It is to be highlighted by the party nationwide. She agrees that her sympathy for AK was incorrect.I congratulate madam Teerath for coming to our party. She must be suitably rewarded after the polls. She will undoubtedly a glowing winner in the polls. In our manifesto we may cover more districts in the Delhi state, reducing the load on UP. The reason is that BJP has much more insight and perception of problems of people and above all much better governance than the present rule in UP.Himmat Joshi8275397089 more

Dear Freinds , This relates to status of education.A few points worth considering : 1. Primary education is the most important education for our society . It should be imparted in the mother tongue of a child. This practice is universally adopted.Primary education should be free in the real sense of the word.Primary education should be completely in the domain of the state.Primary schools should have ample areas for physical activities and healthy environment. The selection criteria for primary school teachers should be stringent and emphasis should be on the higher educational qualification and employment for life.Primary school teacher should be allowed to teach till he is physically fit to teach.Primary teacher should be paid the highest salaries as is done in Germany. We should remember that a child's capacity to learn is infinite it is the capacity of teacher to teach which is most important. more
Medical Education & Services: Over the past 10 ytears or so, medical education has become a business activity. There is nothing wrong in making educational institutes self relient and less dependent on government funding. But while allowing private institutes to run universities and technical education, we are loosing control over their activities. It is very frightening to know that some private medical colleges in the state of Maharashtra have been charging 40 - 50 lacs for admissions to Post-graduate degrees. This is naked selling activity. Many private medical colleges in Maharashtra, why private, even the oldest Government run Medical college like the 150 year old Grant Medical College in Mumbai city dont satisfy the MCI guidelines and specifications of facilities and faculty requirements. On one side we are unable to maintain the minimum requirements of the Government run Institutes and on the other hand we have no control over the large number of private medical colleges mushroomed over the past two decades. Overall the picture of medical education is very depressing. Is there any solution? Yes if there is a will. These are a few actions suggested : We must give the older medical colleges run by the Government autonomy by taking these out of the red tapism of Mantralaya beurocrats. Allow these institutes to generate funds by charging medical services being given almost free today. Nothing can be given free. There has to be a fee system on " No profit No Loss" basis. Today, all medical services given by these institute are a total financial loss to the Government. Raise pay scales of medical teachers. Stop transfers of Medical teachers. Encourage senior faculty to build research facilities and specialization. Departments must have heads who are around 40 yrs of age and assurance of un-interrupted 20 years of tenure without any transfers. Allow senior faculty to develop specialised expertise and earn funds for the departments by undertaking sponsored research and clinical trials. 10% of the earnings can be allowed as the personal income of the faculty. All senior professors who generate funds for the departments be offered special incentives. Recruitments to junior teaching posts be done by each Institute locally. No MPSC is required. Centralized system of purchase of hospital and research equipment be scrapped totally. It is the root cause of deterioration of facilities. Too much of jargon, red tape, huge sums of money spent by ill-equipped few who dont even use these expensive equipment. Lots of duplication on expensive gadgets. Hospitals in nearby areas should share equipment and avoid duplication. No more private Medical colleges be allowed for the next 10 years. All existing private medical colleges be asked to shift their facility to the nearest district Civil Hospital and given complete charge of running these district hospitals through their own earnings. This way the Government will be relieved of the burden of running the District civil hospitals. The people at large will get quality services at some reasonable fee. The Government can then only concentrate on providing and strengthening the primary health care facilities at village and aTaluka levels. Private medical colleges should employ existing staff of Government hospitals. `Retired professors in Government medical colleges be offered Professor Emeritus postings in the same Govt Institutes. This will stop the practice of their exploitation by the private medical colleges by offering ornamental posts on fixed low remunerations. All medical colleges must slowly start recruiting seperate staff for conducting medical research and clinical trials on new drugs. These facilities should be gradually built up by selecting existing senior staff who have a bent of mind , expertise and years of experience in conducting medical research. Such staff should be exempted from routine medical services and given the sole charge of medical research activities. These activities should be undertaken on commercial basis and the earnings be ploughed back in creating new educational facilities. All over the USA, the medical institutes are run on these lines. The Government only provides the infrastructure and limited administrative staff. The departments are run for day-to-day expenses through the earnings of its research and sponsored studies. In fact, it is a common knowledge that the professor who earns the maximum funds through NIH or private sponsor funding is considered the most successful academician of the Institute. We in fact look down up on such professors who earn money for the department by undertaking sponsored research studies. Making money by using special expertise is considered malpractice here! This must change. The cost of medical education must be drastically reduced. Otherwise soon we will have doctors who have bought their degrees and when they start their medical practice, they will try and recover the cost of their degrees by fleecing the patients. It is already happening. more
