To, Election Commission through local circles,
People has to work and stay away from their home town . During election , it becomes very difficult to reach their home town due to nonavailability of sufficient time and required fund for expense. Due to this , most of people could not attend voting and so voting % lowers down . For such people , can we provide secure online voting service , so that one can vote from anywhere in world . We can use aadhar number scanning and registered mobile number for voting .

Online voting: How do I ensure some body is not pointing gun to my head and forcing me to vote to a party? Booth is within 10 minutes distance from the house. If some body can't goto the booth for once in 5 years, GOD can only save such people. Indians are very creative and we find various ways and means to hoodwink the system. NO TO ONLINE VOTING. more

Then only Booth Capturing , Bogus Votes , Wrong Allegations , Quarrel between Parties even Killings can be curbed even in a Decade. GOVERNANCE , EC AND JUDICIARY NEED TO BE MADE AWARE OF ALL THESE ILLS.

EC has done quite well since the time of late Shri T N Seshan. Now the next welcome step must be voting from anywhere. If transaction in one's account is possible from anywhere why not voting? I think it is possible with adequate precautions and safeguards. This will increase the voting percentage and elected representatives will be more authentic. more

Link Voter ID With AADHAR, so that people can vote from anywhere, for the respective constituency vote can be taken into account. Such software need to developed. more

This is actually the need of the hour.Election records can be linked with aadhar card and a person must be allowed to vote from any where.This will improve voting percentage to a really good level and intellectuals can really contribute for the nation's election process. more

Online voting is a welcome thought. EC should starting thinking on this subject. It will be a big and complex system combined with manual system. But it is a need of the day...... and is feasible.... First basic thing is that the voters list has to be strengthened. News of deletion of voters name from the voters List is disturbing.... Control mechanism has to be strengthened.... more

Voters Name in Lists if removed and registered in the Residing Station, removal donot take place .
If EC of States equipped with adequate Staff or possess directing Authority, the Revenue Staff can inspect and no such lapses arise.
Political involvement like in the Issue of Ration Cards NEED TO BE ARRESTED. EC need such independent Authority on Voter Lists and Voter ID. Then only Accountability and full coverage could be possible. more
