It doesn’t matter what you eat; if you eat too much (volume) of food, you’ll be tired. It’s called blood flow diversion. Eat to 85% full and you’ll avoid this source of fatigue. more

Some Hindu Scriptures (Sorry! I don't have the reference ready with me) states you should not take any exotic/rich food as a matter of routine, and that too - half stomach-full, on-quarter of the stomach should be filled with water , and remaining one-quarter should remain empty. Question: How do measure the extent of the stomach you have filled up? more
