Old PF transfer untraceable
Hi,
I worked in a Mumbai based organization for 6 years and left in Jan 2009. Then I joined a Delhi based organization and left in Sep 2011. In 2010, I applied for PF transfer from Mumbai based organization to Delhi based organization, which apparently got transferred in 2010 as per PF passbook , which has an entry of PF transfer in March 2011.
Recently, when I applied for PF withdrawal from Delhi organization, I only got PF of Delhi and there was no mention of transferred PF from Mumbai organization.
When I visited Delhi PF office, I found out that Annexure K was missing at their end so they could not trace my PF transfer amount.
When I lodged my grievance to PF Commissioner, Bandra, Mumbai, I got a reply that Annexure K is missing at their end too however, they confirmed that PF amount was transferred to my Delhi PF account.
Now , I don't know what to do? Both PF offices at Dwarka Delhi and Bandra Mumbai said they don't have Annexure K and without which they can't trace my transferred PF money.
Please suggest what should I do ? Keeping track of Annexure K should not be my responsibility, however, I am stuck as this case is more than 5 years old and tracking records is a challenge.

Friend! I had faced quite a similar situation almost 6 years back with my PF Account based at Mumbai. I had written them sequence of letters through registered post and it worked although taken a long time. You can adopt the same approach detailing the entire situation with all references of records OR even try filing it on-line through the EPFO website where they provide you acknowledgement ticket for each of the submitted grievances for a better tracking. more

Thanks all! I met PRO at Dwarka EPFO and showed him all the documents including passbook. I also managed to meer couple of relevant employees within office and located my Delhi employer file maintained there. Unfortunately, there was no Annexure K there. Then I was told to contact Bandra EPFO and I lodged the grievance online. I got the response that even they could not trace Annexure K at their end. However, they confirmed me on mail that as per their record the amount had been transferred in 2010 itself. I will take this reply and meet officials at Dwarka EPFO now and pursue the matter. Let's see if that works! more
