occupancy certificate by builders
I would like to know when can RERA be approached if the builder fails to deliver the flat on time or do not give occupancy certificate . When RERA is going to be implemented in West Bengal . All under construction projects are supposed to be registered under RERA . In that case , Can we know the details of flat owners in an under-construction flat from any website ? If RERA is already in place , Can Consumer court be approached for delayed delivery of flats ? more

The names of flat owners must be put up with the amt paid. This must be put up on the board. Basic info of the project must be displayed. RERA is being diluted in States. Why? Because the builders lobby funds elections. Builders are selling only at their price. I saw a flat in Vidyavihar, Mumbai and he did not reduce even 3%(Rs5Lakhs).There is no fall in prices.Only hype. more

As I know service tax is only applicable for commercial construction not for residential. It's a fact that builders have been arbitarily charging for residential construction. Verdict has been given by judiciary recently. Central Govt. policy frame work is already on the concerned ministry's web site. Some states have already initiated action. West Bengal Govt. is right authority to approach now as it's the state to act on the policy convenient to the state adminitration. A large no. of home buyers in NCR Delhi are facing a tough time to get the flat booked and Occupancy certificate. It causes a huge financial loss to individual. Still no big impact as state govt. machinery is not much serious to hit the ball. more

We are planning to buy a under construction gated community flat in Hyderabad and registered the same in the month of March, 2017. Is there any kind of service tax has to be borne by us? The builder is insisting us to pay the service tax on the value of the registration of the flat of @ 3.75%. more

Even I am facing the same problem here in Bangalore. Apart from almost 2 years of delay, Ramky projects has demanding to pay around 2.67 lakhs rupees as interest for delayed payment it seems. These people are looting the people without any control on them more
