NO NATIONAL AWARDS TO ARTISTS

NATIONAL AWARDS SHOULD BE ONLY FOR HEROES OF THE COUNTRY WHO HAVE SHOWN COURAGE TO PROTECT OUR COUNTRY.
National awards should be for those people who have sacrificed and shown courage to protect innocent and for welfare of the country.
In no other country are national awards given to artists or film stars. They get private awards from private art institutions.
We are humiliated due to this action. Many award recipients like MF Hussein have later proved unworthy of the rewards. (He drew very derogatory paintings of goddess of wisdom and knowledge, goddess of life goals, and goddess of strength .
Wisdom, knowledge of life goals, and strength are boons given to us by our Creator. We need to respect them. )
We feel a lot of humiliation that our government gave out awards to unworthy citizens. more

Originally , only noble ideals were renowned for Padma Awards . We can see those selected up-to 1990 and those opted after 1990 . Highest Education ; Expertise knowledge in subject ; Extreme Talency ARE ALSO NOT THE QUALITIES FOR THE PADMA CANDIDATURE . Bharat or India Government awards are to such very rare and not that to select yearly or 5 yearly to a minimum or maximum . They are to be such like those who honoured with Padma Awardees prior to 1990 please . more
Film actors/producers/directors doing chhamak-chhallo dance can earn money, but giving national award "Padma-...", seems like making mockery of the real Artists/Heroes. Great classical musicians, classical dancers, great painters and architects, or someone promoting Indian culture should be recognized. Or even someone who made a film that brought social changes is also deserving of some award. But we are very funny people, cannot name 10 great social workers, but know the entire family of Bollywood/Tollywood clowns, we like cheap entertainment. Just look at some national level party leaders; they make George W. Bush look like a genius. more
Few category awards to the poor people create lot of financial problem, few situations people die. Care should be given in this case. more
