2. Prepare a list of domestic raw materials used for different industrial sectors are available abundantly in India at competitive international delivered prices. Similarly, prepare a list of imported raw materials/semi-finished materials used for different industrial sectors being shipped to India at competitive international delivered prices.
3. Identify products (both presently imported or not manufactured in India and locally manufactured) in different industrial sectors based on desk research or published global market survey data.
4. Prepare a list of identified products with number of economically viable international capacity units in different industrial sectors based on these domestic and imported raw materials/semi-finished materials can be manufactured in India at competitive international prices.
5. Prepare a list selected sites where these identified products can be manufactured at competitive prices to cater both domestic and imported markets. The sites selected should have ready-made industrial land with other infrastructure such as road, rail, power, water, hospital, school, club, social life, etc.
6. Prepare list of state-of-the-art technologies available worldwide to manufacture these identified products.
7. Prepare country-wise power point presentation covering products, market, product pricing, raw material delivered price, technology, site information, land & utility availability & pricing, skilled labour availability & wages, labour laws, incentives, tax holidays, various approval required in India, approval procedure & time required after submitting application for setting up industry, advantages in setting up plant in India, etc.
8. Develop a ‘MakeinIndia’ website giving detailed procedures of setting up industries in India together with company laws, labour laws, tax implication, environmental clearance, climatic information, language preferences, country-wise product/technology list and product-wise site maps in various industrial belts/parks under Make in India mission. Helpline with experts assistance should be provided free of cost so that investors should not face any difficulty in submitting online application. The application form should be precise and simple to easily understand by investors. The temporary approval/rejection should be given within 24 hours of submission of application with instructions what are the additional papers/documents to be submitted and final approval including handing over the industrial land after site visits should be completed maximum within 7 days of submission of the application.
9. Involve all Indian Embassies abroad to contact globally reputed industries and arrange one-to-one meeting together with power point presentation for them to develop confidence in taking investment decision in India. Embassies should work as the most useful channels to motivate foreign investors. more
