New parking charges for residential areas

I don't understand what these bureaucrats think of themselves. They have issued this 50 page document about parking policy and how one will have to pay to park in residential colonies.

Why are there no discussions, polls on the subject. What is Mr. Kejriwal doing. Transport dept is under Delhi Govt. Is it not? more

Land for development of our society was purchased out of the contribution from its members and than was handed over to MCD for maintenamce for which they are charging House tax .Land before our house which is being used for parking belongs to us and MCD can't levy parking charges for using our land. more

The time has come to take strict action on parking issue in Delhi. Everyone is suffering from this problem whether the person has a car or not. When local govt. body has made some building guidelines specifying reserve space for parking then why the builders/owner of the plot/flat allow to built small rooms in parking area to get some benefit... as a result of which that space cover approx. 2-3 cars parking space, which are parked outside the building or roads. Even people has started unauthorizedly parking cars in parks... where one would go for some relaxing time... parking charges in colonies is not the only solution.... when one can buy a car.. he can also pay parking charges... Govt. should think of discouraging people to have more cars on Delhi roads. more
