Never touch Skoda

Great cars but zero service makes Skoda a near untouchable for me. My laura car which is about 2.5 yrs old and has done around 40 thousand kms was making some noise. Jai Auto, the authorized showroom of Skoda gave me a bill of 50 thousand for replacing an engine part which should not, in the first place, have gone wrong. Anyway, I paid. I was not happy with the performance even after the car came back presumably repaired and made it known to Jai Auto. Expectedly no response was forthcoming.
A few days later, I found that the entire coolant leaked and the oil was also flowing out. I sent many SOS's and after writing to everybody from top to bottom could manage to even send the car to Jai Auto. Expectedly, prompt comes the reply, other parts have failed and need to be changed. I was furious. Due to shoddy workmanship damages to other parts would have taken place and the company knowing that I paid 50thousand without much fuss is now trying to get more and more.
I told them to keep the car and interestingly no reply has come from them.
So the moral of the story is that I pay huge sums for repairs, am expected to pay more for other parts and when I raise an alarm they are happy to keep the car.

I ham also using Skoda Activia Model 2004 but no problem. By
the way you get some problem in your Laura Model Skoda.

I have one more Car Fiesta Ford Co. After running 16000 KM
Stairing Oil leakage after 30 months and their Dealer asked Rs
18,000/- ofr the replacement of Stairing Oil Box as warrenty
was for 1 year.

I sent an Mail to the MD of Ford Co. that you are using
such a poor quality product in such a luxury Car. He asked
their dealer about service record of my car and replaced
free of Charge.

After 5 years my car running 75000 KM and Staring oil
leakage again and contact to MD Form Co. again for the
replace free of Charege.

They told me that once replaced free of charge againg not possible.
I told you replaced in 16000 KM now 75000 KM it means run
59000 KM after replacement. Why this problem again and again.
Your manufacturing defect as such problem occured.

I am using Skoda from last 7 years but never faced this type
of problem.

They replaced with a request but charge 50 % of the value.

As such I request you to send a mail to MD & Sales Director
of Skoda Co. with mentioned that you will send this report
to Auto Magazine that Skoda quality is very poor.

You see the result and will be repaired free of charges.

Please inform me the result.

Yes......Skoda service is really pathetic. This is more like a kirana shop trying to just sell parts where those parts could have any rate......2 different managers there could easily quote you 2 different prices for the same spare part !!!! And Skoda does not care less either.... more

yes its true.....I also own skoda octavia........here in ahmedabad companys technicians are not capable of diagnosing the fault..they are dependent on scanner....and though scanner shows the fault codes technicians cannot able to rectify the codes...they are just like cheap road side garage technicians. more
