NEED OF THE HOUR

What ever the reforms the government trying to implement in the interest of the public are to be taken at the grass root level and for this exercise officials of the relevant departments are to be educated first the need of the hour and the positive attitude of the government. Reforms in the form of piece of paper will not solve any issue(s) unless and until the officials are taught what to do.

Officers with negative attitude are to be shown doors and optimism should prevail in and around the government offices. More over the officials should understand that they are GOVERNMENT SERVANTS and not above the public. They should should be aware that they ARE FOR THE PUBLIC. more

Those retired non-pensioners in public sector undertaking should be used for out sources works by giving them some remuneration for their survival. more
All retired pensioners should be utilised for national building purpose, like revenue collection, updating data etc. Also all police station should have the data of local residence including rented persons in order to avoid unwanted persons residing . It should be made mandatory for those persons who are giving houses/shopes renting to make sure that the record of the person should be given to the nearby police station. more
We need to launch a nationwide campaign to make people as well as the so called "public servants" in all levels aware that these officials are there to provide services to the society. Usually these reforms are only delegated to the Top Level of the hierarchy and the lower level who generally interacts with the common people are totally reluctant to the changes thus behaves and continues to behave the same old arrogant way. So campaigning through TV , Media, FM stations should reach common man widely across and which should make people demand for their rights than go and beg with the concerned officials. Also, there should be setup helpline numbers which can take stringent and quick action those who found violating their official roles and resposibi lities. more
Public servants must realise that they earn their lively hood from the public money. Public is their true employer. If they don't do the work of public they have no right to continue in that job. Government job is a job of pious public service and public should have the authority to remove them. more
Middle level and senior level officials in Central and State government Departments should understand exercising their job and speedy clearance of files are their DUTIES and not a favour to the PUBLIC ( includes individuals and business community). However head of the office though they are pious and humble but unable or not trying to inculcate the same in the minds of their sub-ordinates. more
