Nationalisation of Rivers
Central Government has a golden opportunity for taking action towards nationalisation of all major rivers and transforming India to a self-reliant and self-sustainable country, and in that process, help in improving the global welfare through low carbon emissions and conservation of the ecology and to end all kinds of river disputes. The Nationalisation of the rivers will be the best solution forever to foster amity and prosperity in India.
The major benefits of Nationalisation are: -
1. Avoid Water scarcity and Flooding.
2. Save and store the rain water through adding dams and irrigation networks for drinking and irrigation purposes during the summer.
3. Higher agricultural production.
4. Internal waterways as another means of transport 5. Electric power supply can be augmented by building the hydro-power plants.
6. Developing the industrial estates alongside the linked rivers will push up the economic growth.
Integration can be done by enactment of a law with provisions for appointment of a National Rivers Commission with statutory powers for planning, implementation, administration and regulation of the rivers and other structures like dams, hydro-power plants, etc. constructed on the upstream and downstream.

Individual States have to realize the true fact that revolts and rivalry starts and exist both when drought requiring acute need of Waters AND when Floods compulsorily letting off waters through Dams . If not , the Union Government or the Supreme Court have to make the States realize this natural effect that never ends . The Suggestion of Nationalization of all major Rivers became inevitable since the States went on horrible ASLEEP . There is immediate necessary to form new Reservoirs , interconnecting Canals , Streams at every place to meet both the Agricultural and Industrial increase as well as the Drinking Water beside making use of Dry and baren lands too . All the States should be self sufficient in Water , Food , Economy Development and , the main Drain-out towards Sea . more

Linking all major rivers helps India to overcome floods,drought . W- commerce such as transportation through waters of human and goods, uniform distribution of seeds,monitoring of crop production and related services and accessibility of safe and protected waters to all citizens.above all indianisation(Hinduism cultural grass roots) can be visible in nook and corner of Indians in toto. more

Please can we divert all the water that we are allowing to flow into Pak and divert it to Cauvery..the water crisis is really bad in South India and for those who care for both Karnataka and Tamil Nadu watching either of the states suffer is unbearable..why so much kindness for the enemy nation which is solely sending terrorists to India..when our own people are suffering from lack of adequate water..if the rivers are somehow connected to the remote parts of India so that all states of India have water then this would have a huge positive impact on the lives of millions of Indians and benefit the farmers especially.. more
