Myth: Eating most of your calories in the evening promotes weight gain!!!!
Fact: No matter when you eat them, you gain weight when you consume more calories than you burn off. For example: mindless munching of high calorie snacks in front of the television or while at work on your computer can push calorie intake over the top. more

Yes Ayesha be it computer or television unconscious snacking always leads to increase in calorie intake. You can have salads without dressing, fresh fruits, low fat yogurt, protein shakes, chenna (which we curdle from low fat milk), egg white omlettes with lots of vegetables. more  
Anubha, if you can suggest some low calories snacking options for sedentary people like us ? more  
My calories come from front of the computer snackin' :) more

Hi Renuka, There is no need to avoid any kind of fats be it vegetable oil, ghee, butter, cheese for growing children until they are overweight!! So go ahead and use it no problem at all!!! more
