Ms. Neelima , that was a tricky sentence " You may be surprised by vitamin D deficiency in the body can prevent weight loss ". I had to read several time before understanding the right meaning . more  
Yo must workout to reduce weight. more  
For reducing weight one should follow following: 1. To drink 1 ltr warm water every day in the morning. and to have warm water to drink whole day. Avoid freezed water or any soft or hard drinks. 2. to do cross exercises and pranayams specially kapalbhati while empty stomach every day. 3 not to overload the stomach by eating more 4. Eat maximum uncooked green leaves 5 Not to sleep immediately after food. 6. To sit on vazrasan after food for 5 to 10 minutes more

Drinking water in the morning after rising from bed is a well known practice in India. But what about those CKD and other patients with restricted intake of water? more  
In case of Kidney problem, water intake is restricted, hence don't drink more water than suggested. Please try to clean the kidney by tea treatment and accupressure. more
