MOHFW scale up testing

Just 64,651 samples tested in last 24 hours and 4,213 cases ?

That means, 6.5% of samples tested turned out positive, which is the highest in recent days...

Will the Ministry please answer what is the plan? Is it by design that testing is kept at a minimum?

Why dont we test 1 million in known clusters on 1-2 days to figure out real presence of the virus. At this rate we could het 65000 in one day. Wont that be better. Isolate all covid 19 positive people. Otherwise we will just keep chasing more

THEN WE NEED TO GET MORE ''THANS'' OF CLOTH. THE BASIC REQUIREMENTS OF TESTING SHOULD HAVE BEEN ANTICIPATED AND WORKED ON AT BREAK-NECK SPEED TO GET THE NEEDED EQUIPMENTS READY OVER TWO MONTHS BACK.CARONA CANNOT BE CONTROLLED MY SYMBOLIC GESTURES AND LOCK DOWNS, WHICH CAN ONLY DELAY THE INEVITABLE. more
Cloth is always stitched according to the cloth availability. Presumably, this applies to Cover-19 testing too. more
There is need to ramp up testing. The instructions for release of patient with mild symptoms must be withdrawn. more
The worst affected is state of Maharastra , though the Govt claims this is due to more tests conducted, but fail to admit that the state has potential issues: 1. Population density example is Dharavi. 2.The Govt failed to act at initial phase, both Maharastra and Kerela had almost equal burden of cases but the later could keep it controlled but the former failed. 3.As we observe now in III phase of lock down as other states are having tougher measures in place , State of Maha has people who are not following any norms, I see people have least regard for others (one can see now 10 times number of vehicles plying on road compared to 1st phase, more and more shops and specially wine shops are thronged by teaming covidiots who are not bothered about lock down. All these and probably Govt complacency has paved the way for Maharastra winning coveted number 1 position in terms of number of infected patients and fatality also. Now once there is complete lifting of lock down (if it happens soon) God save Maharastra . more
THEY ARE JUST DELAYING THE INEVITABLE HOPING FOR A MIRACLE, AS WE ALL ARE TOO. BUT THERE IS NO SUBSTITUTE TO TESTING AND AND SUBSEQUENT FOLLOW UP ACTION. more
