Modiji's "Team India" Must Know....

I see lot of misinformed people talking crap about OROP and think the armed forces are unjustifiably fighting for it. You are very important in making opinions of this country.

I would request you to advise PM as follows :

1.Pay us equal to civil Govt employees.
2. Change our duty to six hrs.
3. Pay us over time like civil servants if employed for more than 6 hrs.
4. Do not employ us in aid to civil authority.
5. Do not employ us in Natural calamities.
6. Do not force us to remove dead bodies after earth quake .Get it done from your fattened Elite class of employees
7. Remove Army Act and make us free like civil servants.
8.We will go to war only if we have proper Arms, Ammunition and equipment .
9. Disparity created in 1973 should be corrected either by paying us the difference since 1973 or deduct from the excess amount paid to your civil servants.
10. Young blood is already boiling ( Gujarat) because of disparities, Which will reflect in near future in all the States.

You will need six times the force to protect the country.I wonder if you realise this. The Yanks have realised that Technology is not the panacea for all military problems and Boots on the ground can't be equated with anything else. Look how a rag tag force, without doing all the fancy courses have made them flee Afghanistan...

It is very easy to write articles in the News Papers. It is relatively easy to manage a printing press. However, It is very difficult to lay down your life for the Nation. Do some intro-inspection and you will realise what it means laying down your life without proper Arms,Ammunition,Equipment....

Try once it will be enlightening. Great nations in this world are not fools, in respecting their armed forces!!! God bless you, Sir!!!

We are not even getting our full pension -- just see the following :

RTI to PCDA Allahabad. Reveals out of Def Pensioners 22.84 % are civilians & they get 45% of Defence Pension. Whereas 77.16% Defence Pensioners get only 55% of "Defence Pension outlay".

Is this a friggin joke on us. Nobody ever thought of these things in our professional lives, because we expected our Govt to look after us and we just looked after our primary mission - " To safeguard our Nation", Jai Hind!! more

I agree with Mr darshan and people should think on these lines. when every system fails defence works, when everyone sleeps defence people guards the borders, when everyone enjoys festivals with their families and dear ones defence people performs duty to the country. more
What exactly behind the inspirations of Sri Darshan Singh as also that of mine , is that the Civilian Sector shall also such Honourable , contended , balanced in life and adjustable as the Security Sector . more
I fully agree with Rameshji in the above matter. more
I don't think anybody has second opinion on the payment of pension to armed forces nor on their sacrifice to the mother land. Due to their sacrifice we all revere them. If there is any difference of opinion it on the the way pension is demanded by forcing govt to accept their demand by resorting to hunger strike by few handful of ex service men. Sticking to their own formula & not seeking for win win situation is not in good taste. When earlier govt lingered it for 40 years no body raised any voice & now in spite of personal commitment of none other than PM few handful of ex service men are resorting to coercive tactics on timeline shows political agenda behind it. People join military on their own & not by any force. Hence putting conditions, as stated above, does not make any sense. If one want to put the above said conditions before joining the army he would have either remained unemployed or joined some other job. It is also pertinent to state that armed forces get some of the facilities during their services which no other service gives. Even post retirement military men has better job opportunities which other service does not have. No one on the earth disrespect our military men. We all love them for their sacrifice. Our only concern is not to politicize the issue by getting in to agitation mode. more
