Mobile Companies misleading on aadhaar linkage

I just saw this poll put in circle Transforming India on experience of Aadhaar linking with mobile.

Everyone must vote on this please. Mobile companies are sending sms saying link your phone number now or we will disconnect while the real deadline is not till February.

Govt needs to simplify the process and as indicated by another member yesterday make sure no money is being charged. more

The process need to be online. However these companies require the person to come. This is difficult for everyone especially senior citizen more

While linking per say is not an issue why they collect bio-metrics? This is not needed as they have to just see originals and accept it. All mobile companies are doing it where as banks are not. So I do not understand the motive of Mobile companies in collecting our bio metrics. more

It is said that if any one having phones of different net works, need to link through the net work separately. It may be clubbed together i.e. once it is linked with one net work it can be shared or transferred etc. to other net works too, instead of customer meeting all places. more
