Some days back inputs were being sought in circles on what is needed from the next Government.

Clearly a commitment on reducing pollution by X percent and that should be in their party’s manifesto.

Air and Water pollution are affecting the Health of our Citizens.All agencies like Local bodies,Municipalties,Legislature and Parliamentarians must look in to this aspect and ensure implementation at all stages. more  
Change is needed. Each and every one has to contribute to reduce the pollution and try to reduce the carbon load. changing from coal to natural gas is one of the solution. But we have to change. Do your part. more  
We elect unqualified candidates and expect everything to be alright. It our municipalities who actually do a lot of pollution by burning street garbage before we get up in the morning and force us to breathe and have various diseases including Leukemia (Blood Cancer). more

It has been said that, owing to killer levels of pollution, many foreign diplomats are refusing postings to New Delhi. To me the real question is: how do you get moribund Indian politicians and business leaders to take any effective action on such a consequential issue?
