Misleading consumers on Rt-pcr - Abbott

Abbott ID NOW at airports costs ₹4500. Some vendors & labs claims it’s rapid RT-PCR. Firstly, this is fleecing people & taking advantage of a public health measure to make travel safer.
Secondly, Abbott ID NOW is not PCR. So this is also a misrepresentation.
Theft & lies. more

The Port authority should be in the knowledge of the fleecing practice.! more
Madam, Abbot Laboratories, on it's own website, seems to claim that it's RT-PCR test with fastest result is authorised by FDA only and it is for US citizens only. I , therefore, find no misrepresentation by anybody. They claim that it gives result in 5 minutes or so but even Rapid Antigen Test does. If anyone is tempted to pay more for the test, it is the individual's fault. more
Yes, any info unrelated to Indians, should
not be circulated amongst LC members. more
The GoI should act swiftly and tame the exploiters and instead put in place its own authorised private body to conduct such tests at all airports at the fixed rates like the group insurance @ Rs. 0.35/rail passenger. more
How it's happening without the support of Airport Authorities? more
If it costs ₹4500.00 for RT pcr test. Let the government take over the testing pattern. Let it go to government to fix rates. Consumers and Citizens avoid this form of loot and bring it to government notices. Thank you Madam Sarika more
