Nowadays the TB bacteria are all resistant to anti TB medications. These also attack the good bacteria in the gut needed for assimilation of nutrition. For an 89 year old only palliative care is advisable. The patient should be given adequate nutrition from his favourite food and allowed to bask in sunlight and light exercise. It is possible that the TB has been contracted earlier and has been diagnosed only now. The patient must be made to feel optimistic and happy and afforded the company of his favourite family/friends. You could instead approach an Ayurvedic physician. L.Kalavathi Retd. Bank Official Chennai, Tamilnadu, India 20/04/2017 more
The patient can not only be cured of all the side effects, but could also be helped to champion the other major comorbidities (additional ailments). Can you share the patient's reports on Whatsapp with us? Our no. is 9250145799. Priya & Pankaj more
