Govt. is really in no mood to look after such issues rather more interested to gain a political mileage as state election and national level election is approaching. Collection of fund is more important now. more
Disease in cows, recently, could have an effect on milk production. Cows numbering at 50,200 infected! Hike in milk prices but expected! When these bovines have helped India meets her protien nutritional requirements, taking up various forms such as butter, cheese, yogurt, lassi, and milk. Veterinarians must treat cows. What we save, saves us! Ours is a moral duty towards these animals. https://indiaaheadnews.com/india/lumpy-skin-disease-infects-50000-cows-in-punjab-milk-production-falls-by-15-to-20-229483/ more
There is annual Inflation of say around 10 %. Milk also falls in to this category. more
Where the focus of the Government is in destabilizing elected Government. Using Tax Payers money in non productive work like buying MLA's...naturally the money which goes out of circulation and into fat purses of MLA's will trigger inflation - price rise - and this would be exploited by these same politicians for furthering their profits. Villagers and farmers would be remembered only during Election time and false promises and Free-bees announced - which is why SC has seized this matter and constituted 3 Judge Bench to find a remedy to it. However the Center will bulldoze the Judiciary - their Pick of CJI in Uday Lalit is for staving off any dangers to their plans with judicial support. more
It is a case of demand n supply. People even in villages had stoped rearing animals. Every house has got atleast one govt. Employee or pensioner and have sufficient buying power. Why such people should run after animals ? Free or highly subsidized food grain supply has added to the problem. Unless milk production is increased, the price will keep on increasing. more
