MI note 4G Mobile IEMI no erase from mobile.

I have purchased a MI phone from Flip cart. After one year it's IEMI no is showing invalid, for this reason no sim is supporting in my phone. I have complaint in Flipcart they are totally denied as it just crossed one month more from warranty period. I have talk with MI company they arrange to send mobile at there Amedabad service center in costing of 189. I have sent it. Now they are saying there is some physical damage in glass so MI will not service free of cost. They sent estimate of RS 10087. Now same model new mobile cost Rs.7999. I am surprised with this type of behavior from a reputable company. Also I now this type of problem comes from software, as during browsing this problems arise, but they want to show this is hardware problem. I don't know why company engage such type of service engineer who misguide customer. I don't now what is my mobile future.... more

There are certain dis-advantage if you purchase through e-commerce agents. The government should comeout with certain protections for the consumer. more
This is the usual problem with the online purchase. There is a tendency to cheat the consumers by sending substandard articles, warranty problems etc. It is high time that we should form a strong consumer protection move against the fraud in online marketing. more
I would suggest you to get the set back from MI service centre and approach a local mechanic who will definitely solve your problems with a little cost. more
I am a long time member of ebay and Amazon both in India and USA. I have found these two are most reliable online puchase platforms. I have no faith in Flip Cart at all. I bought a few times from Snapdeal too, in spite of getting some negetive feed back from one friend of mine who again heard it from some one else - personally I had no problem. Also Indiatimes online is also dpendable. I won't touch Flip Cart by a 10 feet pole. more
Pl contact your local consumer organisation and take up the issue thru' them. If you are in Ahmedabad contact Consumer Education and Research Society (CERS). more
