The GST think tank has no idea about ground realities. Abolish gst and come up with some other simpler and practical solution. more

Solution is simple. Abolish Input tax Credit and work out rates without it. This step will bring 95% goods in the category of 5% GST.
GST rates proposed: Zero% for exempted goods & services. 5% for most of items of daily use. 10% for so called Luxury items. This will make GST a Good and Simple Tax as was the vision of our PM Shri Narendra Modiji. Babus made it complicated to ensure corruption & fraud and large number of court cases.
Request Local Circles to conduct a survey on above suggestions. more

What about 18% GST on member's monthly contribution exceeding 7500 towards reimbursement of common expenses i a Cooperative Housing Society? Housing Societies are registered for convenience of members and are not commercial enterprise. more

our Fm and all of them talk big in saying supporting msme sectors but on the other hand harass them instead of educating them.this is sheer aristrocratic govt only favouring the rich .As mentioned earlier health insurance and medicines should be made available at a cheap rate and not taxed gst at the highest level.What govt does is form a gst council which takes ages to come to any conclusion.All the people in the council are well to do people and do not understand the ground realities of the common man.there should be in the council someone from the citizen to understand and tell the council about the issues which is lacking. more

It has truly been proved as a Gabber Tax , as MSME is suffering very badly as the Govt.'s interest on delayed payment act has failed miserably to deliver as the concerned chairman of Facilitation council are Govt employees and always decide in Government department's favour Nd ultimately you have to go to the civil court and we know the efficiency of judicial system. On the other hand whenever an MSME fails to pay the supplier in a time of 180 days they are made to pay an interest @18 percent even though the supplier is not demanding any interest for the delayed payment of material, the Government go in for unjust enrichment from the same. These recoveries are notified during Audit which is almost 3/4 year afterwards by that time intrest amount goes to manifolds more
