Respected Sir, As a Pharmacist and being in the pharmaceutical industry since 2003, recent scenerio has changed the quality and quantity of drugs been used and utilised among indian citizens for several diseases direct and indirect means of promotions and its a highly revenue generating profession for many foreign investors due to high population status and lack of awareness and availability of facilities in rural and urban areas. Most of diseases are interlinked with evolution of science and technology as well disturbances from cultural and custom related issues. This makes way for many foreign investors to pumpin billions and trillions of dollars either directly or indirectly with ventures of indian pharmaceutical companies and bribing indian clinicians in some or the other way to utilise and promote to end patient customers and does unethical patient trials forcing us to continuous usage of such drugs and even genetically engineered medicines for long term business. I am sure that all drugs been marketed with trial details and the full details of drug being marketed and promoted in india with concern drug controller authority and drug committee with concerned ministers and health ministry department of both central as well state government. If so, why many of drugs being used in india as patient trial drugs for first time for over a period..or been withdrawed by innovater or banned in their respective countries, which are being introduced in our country as first time drugs. Do we have sufficient authorised personnell to verify all the companies being registered in the concerned department for its marketing and promotions in our nation..? If so how come some of the foreign companies even after the specified period..operating in india as a individual firm inspite of agreement being made only for specific period. Some of the drugs where the strains of DNA used are of foreign origin with their patency and there are chances of contamination and gene transciption of foreign DNA being happening among indians when used for prolonged period. Eg foreign genes with various races too being used and mixed with our indian DNA and such patency right legal disputes were claimed in developed countries for their own benefits. It is a serious religious racial issue which may be neglected as lack of awareness and knowledge among the health ministry and experts. There are biotechnologically sound betrayal citizens of us whom they indulge in such activities inspite being aware of such consequences and does trials in indian patients with the help of clinicians of various specialities in differential diseases. Are these issues been monitored with help of concerned experts, There are possible chances of certain communicable diseases been transmitted for commercial purpose to make it as a big business through rodents..bats..birds..dogs..cattle and possible animals and human contaminations without the knowledge of experts even and allowed to spread among the community making way for new patient trial drugs and vaccines being imported and marketed for commercial purpose to benefit themselves. Can the department make sure of such drug menaces happening in india. As some of dogs been sterilised or vaccinated for unknown reasons by corporation officials which are not revealed and again raising questions on the possible virus contamination of some of epidemic or seasonal diseases being spread without any warning signs through their saliva..faeces..or blood related activities of biting or through mating among them and easy way of spreading across stray dogs and animals. Apart from the department of alcohol controller in collectorate offices..the customs department of all means need to take control of usage of liquor in private hotels with bar licences need to be checked periodically on their consumption and misuse of limitations. Further some of narcotic drugs being used by pain management centres across the states need to be monitored for its utility and misuse and their licences need to be scrutinised while applying for such facilities with proper monitoring on their premises and under the control of concern collectors and officials. Proper disposal records need to be checked and monitored after the consumption of medicinal dosages. Checking need to be done for people who have the knowledge on its usage and handling of such narcotics by medical experts..professionals and even ex servicemen who are retired and serviced at national borders and medical fields for a possible linking with drug peddlers..! I believe that the above statement being kept confidential and not disclosed openly. Thanking you Sir more
