Marketing and ingredient label guidelines

I've noticed that many packaged products including the ones that are certified by FSSAI make tall claims about being health products but when you examine the ingredient list, the marketing seems like a blatant lie. For instance half the bread products are now claiming that they are whole wheat. But there is no way to tell the proportion of whole to refined wheat flour in the bread. Are there any guidelines about what and how much brands are supposed to disclose on their ingredient labels? more

Ingredients are supposed to be mentioned in descending order of their percentages. Thus ideally the manufacturer should mention the percentage of different types of wheat flour. Did you know that bread contains around 60% water. more  
The message should reach public,poor and innocent. more
