It was found out through laboratory tests that maggi noodles contained harmful chemicals beyond tolerance limit and only after wards it was banned in the country. Maggi with the harmful substances were being consumed in large quantities by Indian children which has adversely affected their future health. Even courts have preferred to take action against Amitabh bachan who endorsed it to the children for huge money. But unfortunately the corporate giant used money power to overcome all objections and continue to sell the product and ruin the life of Indian children. Atleast it should be banned for two years so that all old stock are destroyed. In future every batch should be tested in all labs before sale. After all people can go without maggi and no need to bring it back. more

Wonder why the same results are not corroborated by all the agencies who have tested it across the developed countries. more

This is a good exercise in educating people-I find the forum is misused by people to air their personal problems..I think keep the topic holistic, and make presentations like this-it will be useful more

There is no point in talking like this. If you feel cheated or feel that the Ministers in Modi's Govt are corrupt, and have facilitated MAGGI to come back, it would be proper to ask your questions from the concerned ministries under RIGHT TO INFORMATION ACT. Do it now and expose the Minister & Executives alongwith the MNC. more
